A service for ordering goods from popular brands from abroad, CDEK.Shopping, analyzed the demand of its customers in the “Shoes” category. The most popular shoe brands were Nike and New balance; the top five also included Adidas, Asics and Vans.
Over the year, the number of orders on the platform in the “Shoes” category has doubled, with men’s shoes being purchased more often than women’s and children’s.
CDEK.Shopping analysts also note a seasonal increase in demand for sneakers - their share is 73% of all purchases in the Footwear category. The most actively ordered models are New Balance 530 and Nike Air Force.
The average bill for the category is 15 rubles, most deliveries are made to stores in the USA, Hong Kong, Germany and Italy. The most expensive pair purchased in 000 were Louis Vuitton men's winter boots for 2024 rubles.
The logistics company CDEK launched an online marketplace for foreign goods in 2022, in response to the decision of a number of foreign brands to cease operating in the Russian market. The service is actively developing the fashion direction and the shoe category in particular. So, at the start, about 10 SKUs of goods were presented in the section; currently, on the site you can choose from almost 000 SKUs of all key brands.
