In Russia, increased production of leather and shoes

This year in Russia there is an increase in the production of leather and shoes, by 6% compared to the same period last year. This was announced at the All-Russian forum of light industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Viktor Yevtukhov.

“In the 2016 year, compared with the same period of the 2015 year, textile and clothing production increased by 4,2%, the growth in leather and footwear production amounted to 6%,” he said.
