Russian retail masters business management software solutions

Fashion and shoe retail are increasingly turning to software solutions for effective business management.

In Russia, the customers of the German company SAP are now several dozen companies from the fashion sector - these are manufacturers of clothes and shoes, and retail chains.

“In our opinion, the Russian fashion industry has great potential to become competitive in the international market. But for this, Russian fashion houses, designers and manufacturers need the right tools and solutions based on the best business management practices, - believes Denis Shuvalov, Director of Customer Relations, Fashion & Retail Sector, SAP CIS. “Many companies, including Russian ones, are now producing their goods in other countries, so the issues of supply planning, warehouse management and logistics are especially relevant.”

For example, our companies such as SELA, TsentrObuv, INCITY, FINN FLARE, Monroe, MODIS using SAP solutions manage assortment planning, procurement, collection and processing of sales and inventory data. SAP solutions enable you to analyze and forecast stocks and sales. Optimization in this area allows us to achieve good results: for example, the Monroe shoe store chain in Novosibirsk reduced 20% of the labor required to collect and process sales and inventory data, as well as statistics. In another well-known company, “The World of Leather and Fur,” using SAP, a comprehensive solution for planning and reporting was implemented. Now, key persons of the company can track the main KPI in a convenient way on the dashboards.

Interesting projects were made for the TsentrObuv chain, where the SAP ERP for Retail solution for managing financial and material flows was implemented, and in Orsay - here in 2009 a monitoring system based on SAP Business All-in-One was introduced, which allows to optimize assortment management , stocks, purchases and supplies.

With the help of SAP solutions, FiNN FLARE company plans the assortment, manages purchases (before the production order), collects and analyzes statistics on sales and stocks. A similar option was chosen by the INCITY network (Fashion Continent). MODIS with the help of SAP solutions provides procurement management, logistics tracking, goods distribution management, delivery management to stores, etc.

SELA, as well as MODIS, with the help of SAP solutions will carry out procurement and goods distribution management, logistics tracking, delivery management to stores, register sales and goods distribution in stores.

Fashion and shoe retail are increasingly turning to software solutions for effective business management.
