In the third quarter of 2018, 20 was opened for new shoe stores under the Lisette and S-TEP brands owned by Obuv Rossii. Shops were opened by franchising in the cities of Siberia and the Urals.
At the end of the 3 quarter, the Shoe of Russia retail network amounted to more than 650 outlets, of which 133 stores are being developed by franchised partners of the company.
“Over the 9 months of this year, we have significantly expanded our retail network. In the development strategy, we focus on opening our own stores, this is a priority for us. At the same time, we are developing a franchise program, as it allows us to enter those regions in which we are not yet represented, and to remote regions, ”commented Anton Titov, Director of Obuv Rossii GC. - We launched the franchise program in a new format in 2017 year. We began to transfer some of the wholesale customers with whom we have been cooperating for a long time to franchisee status and offered them a new format of work. We also expanded the list of brands for the affiliate program, including S-TEP, a brand of shoes for everyday wear and outdoor activities. In 2017, according to this scheme, we opened 39 stores; in the 3 quarter of this year, 20 was also opened.
GC "Shoes of Russia" As part of the investment program, it is actively developing its retail network. By August 20, the Group completed the opening plan for this year by launching 100 of its own stores, and decided to review the program upward and open another 50 new outlets by the end of the year. Over the next three years, Obuv Rossii plans to expand its network to 1000 stores.
Obuv Rossii GK was founded in 2003, has a headquarters in Novosibirsk and an office in Moscow. The main business area of the Group is the production and sale of footwear and related products. The company operates 657 stores (133 operate on a franchise) under the brands Westfalika (single-brand shoe store), Pedestrian (multi-brand shoe supermarket), Rossita (a family-friendly store), Emilia Estra and Lisette (fashion shoe stores), and also develops brands of shoes and clothes for an active lifestyle S-tep, all.go and Snow Guard and owns two shoe factories in the Novosibirsk region.
In accordance with the audited IFRS financial results, in 2017 the group's revenue amounted to 10,8 billion rubles, net profit - 1,3 billion rubles, EBITDA - 2,74 billion rubles.
