According to the distributor, the current sales volume has reached 96 thousand pairs. The lag in comparison with the same period last year was 2%, and was caused by a decrease in demand for products of the WBL, ANTA, DITOP brands. But goods from Russian manufacturers have significantly strengthened their positions. The total demand for footwear brands "Kotofey", "Lel", "Parizhskaya Kommuna" increased by 17%, while the decline for products from factories in Southeast Asia was 33%. Separately, the company noted the success of membrane shoes, which jumped 54% and were sold in the amount of 27 thousand pairs.
To date, the Ural distributor has received a complete assortment at the request of customers of children's shoes and has practically stopped delivering products from winter collections. An exception is felt boots, the demand for which does not subside. Late models will ship until mid-November.
Now Mila is faced with the task of getting out of the winter season with minimal residues, which are planned to be minimized during the last autumn month. As part of this strategy, models with reduced demand will be moved to markdowns, such as no more than 5% of the total turnover. It is planned to use the funds received to purchase a festive collection of Top-Top, Parizhskaya Kommuna, Kotofey brands, as well as to prepare for the spring season.
