"Russian leather" will manufacture fur for shoes

Russian Leather Group of Companies is investing 150 million rubles in the construction of a facility for the production of sheep’s fur for shoes and clothes, the website of the tannery says.

The construction of a new production is underway in Ryazan. A Spanish company was chosen to design the production complex, and manufacturers from Turkey, Italy and Spain are engaged in the manufacture of equipment for the new plant.

At present, representatives of the Russian Leather Group are negotiating with large agro-industrial complexes of the Russian Federation and abroad on the issue of providing the new production enterprise with raw materials. It is noted that with the introduction of production into operation, the company will expand its product range for all types of leather and fur products. The first batch of fur will be produced by the fall season.
