In July, 2018 the average check for the purchase of shoes by Russian consumers fell by 3%, due to seasonal discounts. At the same time, the number of shoe purchases decreased by 12%, writes TASS, citing a study by Sberbank of Russia.
In July, the average check in the footwear segment was fixed at the level of 1,6-1,7 thousand rubles. (The value of the indicator was higher in St. Petersburg, Kaluga, Sakhalin and Tomsk regions - more than 2,6 thousand rubles). Specialists of Sberbank of Russia also noted a decrease in revenue in shoe retail during the reporting period by 14%. At the same time, the revenue of stores selling clothes in July 2018 on the contrary increased by 3%.
