The brand of shoes and accessories Tervolina has released a joint collection with Russian designer Olga Soldatova. Soldatova’s work is imbued with the spirit of Russian avant-garde art of the first half of the 20 century. In her works, she often uses the well-known artistic symbols of the Soviet era - airplanes and stars. It was they who became the main decorations of the capsule collection.
The Tervolina & Olga Soldatova collection includes sneakers - felt boots, with a trendy sole from chunk-sneakers a la Balenciaga and felt upper in the tradition of Russian felt boots, duffel boots with eyelets in the shape of stars, sneakers with appliqué in the form of an airplane pattern, high boots with inscriptions executed in a font typical for avant-garde posters. Also noteworthy is a black and white backpack with a print in the form of an airplane, as well as bags of various shapes and sizes, belts, and jewelry.
Many models seem completely museum exhibits, but there are quite wearable things among them.
The limited collection will go on sale in March 2019.
Olga Soldatova - architect, designer, artist. She graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute, studied in the homeland of the art of mosaic, in Ravenna. She worked in China, Paris, Moscow.
