According to the results of the 2015 year, no more than 60% of the declared volume of high-quality retail real estate will be introduced, the RRG study says.
According to analysts, a significant proportion of these 60% will be in retail facilities, the opening of which was to take place in 2014 year. In this case, the maximum volume of the new retail real estate offer in 2015 will be about 700 thousand sq. M, of which 240 thousand sq. M has already been commissioned in the first quarter of this year.
Experts emphasize that the opening of about 2015 facilities, the total sales area of which, as expected, was about 20 million sq m, was initially announced at 1,2.
"Now the pace of construction of new retail facilities is slowing down everywhere, as developers, firstly, have very limited access to debt financing, and secondly, they are in no hurry to open shopping centers in the face of falling incomes retailers and an increase in the share of vacant premises in shopping centers in Moscow. "Norma" this year will be the opening of facilities with 30-50% occupancy ", - explained the Chairman of the Board of Directors of RRG Denis Kolokolnikov.
