The museum of boots will appear in the city of Kineshma, Ivanovo Region. Entrepreneur Yuri Voronov spoke about the idea of organizing a unique exhibition for Governor Mikhail Menu. He met with the head of the region during the reception of citizens, which was held by Mikhail Men on 8 of September.
It is planned that in the Kineshma museum of boots it will be possible not only to admire the unique exhibits, but also to get acquainted with the technology of their manufacture.
During the meeting, Yuri Voronov asked for assistance in opening the museum of felt boots: providing for the exposition free of charge municipal premises with a total area of about 100 sq. M. Mikhail Men supported the initiative and gave appropriate instructions to his subordinates. “Such projects ensure the tourist attractiveness of small towns, and this is an increase in the revenue side of the budget and new jobs. Of course, we will always support such initiatives and will do our best to promote their implementation, ”he added.
It should be noted that the Sokolov family lives in Kineshma, which is engaged in the manufacture of felt boots using traditional technology, as well as souvenirs, among which the Russian record holders are the largest and smallest felt boots in the country.
