Art Fashion Competition for Young Designers Held in Novosibirsk
Art Fashion is a project of the Novosibirsk Technological Institute (branch) “Moscow State University of Design and Technology. The institute organizes the competition for young designers for the fourth time. The event was held in the fashionable club "Izium" on December 7, 2011. Three dozen new author's collections were presented to the attention of the audience in the nominations: “Clothes” (Pret-a-Porte, Creative); "Shoes and accessories". The competition jury consisted of fashion and light industry professionals, among whom was Viktor Feoktistov, fashion designer, president of the Siberian Haute Couture Foundation, ideologist of the Siberian Couturier competition of fashion designers, and a member of the Russian Designers' Union.
In the Pret-a-Porte Clothing nomination 1, the Diary collection (Valiyeva Margarita) took the place. In the Creative Clothing 1 nomination, the collection took a maximum of twelve (Olga Botova). In the nomination “Shoes and Accessories”, the collection “Rodeo in Siberian” (Laperdina Julia) received the grand prix.
