In Samara, the average check for the purchase of shoes was reduced

VTB24 analyzed the spending of Samara residents in POS-terminals of the largest retail outlets: cafes and restaurants; as well as in grocery stores, electronics stores, clothing and shoes, hotels. The study was conducted from August 2013 to August 2014.

The results show that Samara residents have begun to cut their spending on restaurants and cafes. In August 2014 the average check was 1361 rubles, which is 249 rubles less than in August 2013. Samara residents' spending in grocery stores has increased. If last year the average bill for the purchase of food in retail outlets was 258 rubles, now it is 289 rubles.

Residents of Samara began to save on equipment - here the average check fell from 5318 rubles to 5243 rubles. The average bill for the purchase of clothing and footwear fell from 3608 rubles to 2581 rubles. Muscovites began to spend more on clothing and footwear - average spending increased.
