Moscow authorities have solved the problem of shortage of retail space. Together with the capital's Committee on Architecture and Urban Planning, they prepared a draft of small shopping galleries for sleeping areas.

According to the calculations of the department of the consumer market and services due to the implementation of this program, by 2016 the provision of retail space in Moscow will increase to 1,2 thousand square meters. m on 1 thousand inhabitants.

To date, the Central Administrative District - 1540 sq. m on 1 thousand inhabitants. Worst of all - Eastern Administrative District - 530 sq. m on 1 thousand inhabitants.
