The founders of the Ancient Greek Sandals brand, Christina Martini and Nicholas Minoglow, produce summer shoes based on sandals that were once worn in ancient Greece. It would seem that they are not the first to be inspired by Greek antique shoe models, which is ideal for walking along the beaches and streets of Paros or Kefalonia, however, it seems that for the first time the shoe brand is positioned in this way.
The designers of the brand draw inspiration for creating models of Ancient Greek Sandals in the culture of Greece, ancient myths, sculpture, jewelry. Shoes are created manually using traditional techniques that have not changed for many centuries. Three new brand collections are released annually.
The brand is already represented in major shoe retailers around the world. Ancient Greek Sandals shoes are sold at Selfridges, Matches, Bergdorf Goodman, Forty-Five Ten and Maxfield in the United States. The headquarters of the brand is located in Athens, and on May 30, the first mono-brand store, Ancient Greek Sandals, opens in the capital of Greece.
