Unichel opened 12 new stores since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of 2015, Unichel opened twelve new stores in the Urals, Siberia, Primorsky Krai and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.

According to company representatives, Kazakhstan remains the main strategic direction for the development of the network. Since the beginning of the year, 7 stores have opened in the neighboring republic - in Kokshetau, Petropavlovsk, Pavlodar, Kostanay, Aktobe, Atyrau. Store openings are planned in Ekibastuz, Rudny, Astana and Karaganda by the beginning of summer.

“For the last 5-7 years we have been steadily expanding the geography of our presence: we have opened 30-40 stores annually,” comments Vladimir Denisenko, director of the Unicel Shoe Company. - This year, we had to approach the issue more carefully: we planned to open no more than 20 new stores, and so far we are moving within the framework of the planned plan. At the same time, 5 unprofitable ones were closed at the beginning of this year ”.

The shoe company "Unichel" is one of the largest light industry enterprises in Russia, specializing in the production of a wide range of footwear. Today, Unichel has three shoe factories in Chelyabinsk, Zlatoust and Orenburg, 400 stores of branded footwear in 130 cities of Russia (from Murmansk to Vladivostok), three million pairs of shoes per year, 2400 employees.
