Unichel continues to fight against counterfeit and counterfeit

The Director General of the Unichel shoe company Vladimir Denisenko is preparing to discuss measures to restore order in the shoe market in the context of the fight against counterfeit and counterfeit products during a large meeting of representatives of light industry in Ryazan with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the official report of the company, which was sent to the Shoes Report editorial office, despite the appeal of the Unichel head to the Ministry of Industry and Trade in May this year, indicating monitoring data with addresses and photos of retail stores selling counterfeit goods and counterfeit goods, there were no serious actions the authorities did not follow the offense. As we wrote earlier, company experts conducted monitoring in 25 regions of the country and identified 329 outlets in which low-quality and illegal products are sold. The Ministry of Industry and Trade sent monitoring data to Rospotrebnadzor, but the supervisor did not take any serious action.

Recently, Unichel was faced with the fact of selling third-party shoes under their own brand. It was possible to identify the fact of counterfeiting when the customer appealed to the company for damages after, during the first two months of operation, the shoes she had acquired, as she believed Unichel factories, had become unusable.

“According to the data of the Russian Union of Leatherworkers and Shoemakers, today shadow imports occupy more than 30% of the footwear market. Often this is not only a low-quality product, but also a dangerous one. It contains formaldehydes, harmful volatile chemical compounds. There is no import control for such products. In addition, illegal imports cause huge economic damage to the country due to non-payment of VAT and duties. Up to 30 billion rubles. loses the Russian budget every year. Russian manufacturers are placed in unequal and even discriminatory conditions. Buyers also suffer: they receive low-quality goods, they are misled about the shoe manufacturer. The proposed measures in the form of shoe chipping should influence this situation. However, they are not enough ", - stated in the press release of" Unichel ".
