Trading house "CenterObuv" became a laureate of the III annual award "Consumer rights and quality of service" in the category "Consumer goods" in the category "Clothes, footwear, accessories".
The laureates of the award, timed to coincide with the completion of the 20-year stage of the law "On Protection of Consumer Rights", were announced on July 3 at the congress center of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The contestants were faced with the task of providing reliable information confirming the company's activities in the interests of observing consumer rights. TD "CenterObuv" demonstrated not only the observance of the rights to high-quality and responsible service, but also added "the right to love" to the list of the necessary and most significant obligations of the company to the client. The company is the Russian leader not only in terms of revenue among retailers in the clothing and footwear segment, but also in terms of the number of loyal customers, whose number exceeds 20 million.
As part of the service quality improvement program, the company introduced new standards for the design and automation of its retail space. In addition to the unique design, high illumination of retail space, organization of children's play areas, equipping stores with electronic POSM and touch-sensitive LCD screens has become a new solution in the Russian retail market. Thanks to the "interactive walls", customers will have the opportunity to independently select shoes, accessories, learn about their availability and location in the store. To improve the qualifications of store employees and the quality of customer service, since July 2011, CenterObuvue has implemented a “Distance Learning System” for its personnel.
In addition, CenterObuv Trade House provides customers with the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of the social responsibility program, writes fg.ru. So, in October 2012, the Centro network will present a new collection created in conjunction with top model Natalia Vodianova. The company will transfer part of the proceeds from sales to the Naked Heart charity foundation.
The Consumer Rights Award is supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Department of Trade and Services of the City of Moscow, the Department of Moscow City for Competition Policy, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, and the Association of Retail Companies (AKORT).
