s.Oliver Shoes makes plans for retail development in Russia

Within three years, the Russian partner of the German brand of shoes and clothes s.Oliver, the company Shu.kom Vostok is going to open about 20 company stores in Russia. The company relies on retail development in small regional cities of the country. Retail outlets will operate under the guise of s.Oliver Shoes.

"Shu.kom Vostok" - Russian licensee s.Oliver, produces and sells shoes under license. Until now, the company has been engaged in wholesale sales, and now it also plans to develop retail.

According to Shakhin Vostok sales director Ivan Shakhin, by the end of the 2019 year, about 15 s.Oliver Shoes partners will be open in multi-brand stores in Yekaterinburg, Nizhnevartovsk, Perm, Voronezh, and in the next three years it is planned to open full stores near 20. The first store, under the guise of S.Oliver Shoes, should start operating in Voronezh by the 2021 year. Traditional retail will be developed by franchising.

The equipment was made in an industrial style, minimalist and strict, in which metal and wood are organically combined. The design was based on manufacturability and functionality.

It is worth noting that for the global brand s.Oliver this is the second attempt to develop a branded retail network in Russia. Until 2005, German brand stores were already operating in the country. Another franchising partner of the brand was engaged in the development of the S.Oliver retail chain, with which relations were terminated and retail was reformatted. After that, s.Oliver clothes and shoes were presented in Russia in partner multi-brand retail and online stores.
