The book "Merchandising: assortment management course in retail"

The authors of the bestseller Book of the Director of the Store, Svetlana Sysoeva and Ekaterina Buzukova, in 2008 released a new book, Merchandising: Assortment Management in Retail.

Merchandising is defined as creativity subject to the laws of psychology and based on sales analytics. Merchandising is considered as a three-level system. The first element is the appearance of the store and the area around it. The second level is the trading floor. The third is the display of goods on the trading floor.

The book consists of two parts - a detailed description of each level and practical recommendations for stores of different commodity specifics.

The main idea that the authors wanted to convey to readers is what is done in the store, done for the buyer, so that he is comfortable. The idea is not new, but far from always applied in practice.

What is especially pleasant, a CD with photos of samples of the correct calculation of the goods, commented by the authors of the book, is attached to the book.
